Nate King
As Co-owner and Sales and Construction Manager at Superior Building, Nate enjoys that his position allows him to participate in many areas of the business, occasionally including getting his hands dirty in the building process.
Born and raised on an Amish dairy farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Nate’s core values of dependability, resourcefulness, persistence, teamwork, diligence, and integrity were the foundation of his upbringing. In 2001, Nate sought to apply those values to a career in Post-Frame Building, which eventually led to the founding of Superior Buildings.
In his free time, Nate enjoys exploring the beautiful state of Virginia and spending time with his wife, Joanna, and their 6 children on their farmette in Harrisonburg, VA.
Joanna King
Sometimes called “the glue that holds it all together,” Joanna co-founded Superior Buildings. She works behind the scenes, ensuring that a culture of trust and excellence is upheld in every facet of the business.
Joanna’s passion for building started at age 8 when she served as her father’s “right-hand man” during the construction of their family home. In her free time, she enjoys music, reading, and the time she spends with her family.
